Dashboard GuideFlows & Lead Capture

Flows

Flows are automated actions that run during conversations. The current built-in flow is Capture Leads — a smart in-chat form that collects visitor contact details at the right moment.

Flows tab

Go to Agent → Flows in the dashboard. You'll see the Capture Leads card showing whether it's Active or Inactive, and which fields are currently enabled.

Click the Capture Leads card to open the full configuration editor.

Capture Leads flow

When enabled, the AI agent decides when to show a contact form inside the chat window, based on your when to show instruction. The visitor can fill it in or dismiss it — you get notified either way.

Configure the form

1

Enable the flow

Click the toggle at the top of the Lead Flow editor to turn it Active. The card on the Flows tab will show a green Active badge.

2

Set the trigger instruction

The When to show field is a plain-English instruction sent to the AI. The default works well for most cases:

Show the lead form after the user sends their first message.
After they submit, answer their question and let them
know someone will follow up.
3

Choose your fields

Enable the fields you want to collect. Email is required by default. You can also enable Name, Phone, and a custom Query field. For each field you can customize the label and placeholder text.

4

Set success & dismiss messages

Write a friendly confirmation for after they submit (e.g. "Thanks! Our team will be in touch within 24 hours.") and a graceful message for if they dismiss the form (e.g. "No problem, feel free to ask me anything!").

How it appears in chat

When triggered, the form appears as a card inside the chat window — above the input field. It shows your enabled fields with labels, an optional required marker, a Submit button, and a × dismiss button in the top-right corner.

UX tip: Keep the form short. Name + Email is the sweet spot. Every extra field reduces completion rate.

Auto-detection

Even without the Lead Flow form enabled, Doupple passively scans every visitor message for email addresses and phone numbers. When detected, the contact is automatically saved to Dashboard → Leads with a quality score.
